Eastern Mining donated roses to High School Graduates

The Vares generation of High School graduates in the 2019/2020 school year will be remembered for many things.

The 47 graduates of the  High School "Nordbat 2" Vareš, this week celebrated their graduation in a modest ceremony. Sadly due to the current Corona virus restrictions they were not able to walk around the town like previous generations. They gathered to mark this important day in their lives, with Eastern Mining giving all the graduates a rose to celebrate.

Almedina Likić, the Eastern Mining representative addressed the graduates with a few words: “As you know, Eastern Mining is a socially responsible company that is committed to supporting the local community and wants to maintain a harmonious relationship with the community. In this regard, we often support various sports and cultural events, and provide help where needed. We are giving all the students a rose as a symbolic gift for a happy start to a new phase of their lives on behalf of the management and all employees of Eastern Mining. I personally would like to wish you good luck and success in further education, work and of course life. Be diligent, persistent, ambitious, believe in yourself and your success, and know that every effort in life pays off. I wish you all the best!”

This gesture from Eastern Mining company looks to recognise the younger generation of the town and remind them that maybe after graduating from higher education, they will seek employment from the company.
